Frequently Asked Questions

What types of numbers does the extractor find?

It extracts integers (e.g. 42), decimal numbers (e.g. 3.14), negative numbers (e.g. -15), and numbers with common prefixes like currency symbols ($29.99). Phone numbers and dates in numeric format are also captured.

Does it extract numbers inside words?

No — the extractor identifies standalone numbers and numbers separated from text by spaces, punctuation or line breaks. Numbers embedded inside words (like "b2b") are not extracted.

Are duplicate numbers removed?

Yes — by default the output is deduplicated. Toggle off the deduplicate option if you need every occurrence including repeats.

Can I extract numbers from a large document?

Yes. Paste any amount of text — entire documents, spreadsheet exports or web page source code. There are no size limits.

Is my text private?

Yes. All extraction happens in your browser using JavaScript. Your text is never uploaded to any server.
